...It's a Wonderful Town

What is there to do in Washington? Plenty. Tons. And we're not just talking tourist attractions here. You can even meet famous, exciting politicians. We'll be adding links to this page in the near future. In the meantime, here's a few places to get information about the city.

  • New to D.C.? Learn all about what to see in town in Destination D.C., the tourist's guide of Washington from WashingtonPost.com
  • There's a ton of great resources on WashingtonPost.com. Check out the right places to eat, where the good shows and parties are, how to get around with or without a car, or tour sites you've seen in movies in Washington, including the Exorcist stairs and the sites from "All the President's Men."
  • Yahoo! has a collection of information on the city. Feel free to surf the related links at will.
  • April 5 is the weekend of the Cherry Blossom Festival in Washington. Thousands of trees will be in full bloom for just two weeks, and you'll get to see Washington at its best. The trees are located around the Tidal Basin by the Jefferson Memorial.
  • Yeah, they got a few monuments around the area. The Lincoln Something-or-other and stuff like that.
  • The Galleria is located right near DuPont Circle, one of the coolest areas in Washington. Two good overviews of the guide can be found here and here. You'll also be just a few blocks from our favourite bar, The Brickskeller.
